NHS and Private Treatment
Queensway Dental Clinic is a mixed NHS and private dental practice.
Queensway does not currently have space for new NHS patients for general dentistry.
However, we can accept and treat NHS patients who have been referred to us from colleagues in the region for, specialist oral surgery and specialist orthodontics providing that the referral criteria is met.
Once you have been referred to us by your dentist, a member of our reception team will contact you with your appointment information. If you have any concerns or questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us on 01642 554667.
On this page in the right-hand column you will find a document called ‘NHS Patient Practice Information Leaflet’ where you will find advice for referred patients which you may find useful.
Important update for existing NHS patients:
Please note that as part of our endeavour to ensure NHS resources are used efficiently, you will not be booked a routine scale and polish. Your dentist or therapist will assess you at your check up and if a scale and polish is necessary you will be seen by a hygienist or therapist on this day (if available) or at another convenient time for yourself.
Child check- ups maybe booked in with our Dental Therapist Aimee Briggs. Your child is still registered with your dentist.
We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused during these changing times. We are working hard as a team to deliver the highest standards of NHS dental care for you and your family. Our future plans will involve a full range of dental care delivery by our team of professionals including, oral health educators, dental hygienists, dental therapists and dentists.
New patients can join Queensway as private patients for general routine dentistry or more advanced services.
Patients can spread the cost of paying for their routine private oral health assessments, necessary x-rays and hygienist appointments by monthly payments with Denplan.
We currently offer all new private patients a free initial assessment including an oral health check and x-rays where necessary.
If you are interested in having a full oral health check or wish to explore some more of our advance treatment options, you can book in for a new patient free consultation with one of our experienced dentists. At this consultation you will receive a bespoke treatment plan from the dentist outlining treatment options and detailing costs depending on your dental needs. This initial consultation is completely free and you are under no obligation to go ahead with any treatment. You will be given the necessary information to take away with you to help you make an informed decision about your dental care.
