Paul qualified from Newcastle Dental School in 1990. He started his dental career in Durham, where he worked as a dental associate for two years.

1994 - Set up Queensway Dental Practice.

1997 - Completed his diploma in General Dental Practice and his diploma in Conscious Sedation.

1998 - Established Queensway Anxiety Clinic, a referral service meeting the dental needs of highly anxious patients.

2002 - Awarded a Master's degree in Sedation.

2005 - Conferred with a Doctorate in Philosophy.

2006 - Welcomed Uzma and Ian as Partners to Queensway Dental Practice.

2008: Awarded a Masters degree in Implant dentistry from Warwick University.

Paul has published research regarding the use of conscious sedation in dentistry, pioneering sedation techniques for children. His special interest in this has led to his involvement in developing a dental sedation policy for England.

 

 

 

Ian qualified from Newcastle Dental School with an Honours Degree in 1998. After working at Newcastle Dental Hospital, he joined Queensway as a full time associate in 2000.

In 2001 he gained his MFGDP qualification for General Practice and completed a Diploma in Conscious Sedation in 2002.

Ian has been actively involved in the published research carried out at Queensway Anxiety Management Clinic pioneering Conscious sedation techniques for children. He is committed to all aspects of family dentistry and enjoys caring for young and old alike.

Ian has interests in Endodontics and Dental Implantology. He is a member of the Association of Dental Implantology .

In 2008 Ian was awarded a Master's degree in implant dentistry from Warwick University.

 

Uzma qualified from Newcastle Dental School in 1996. She completed her general Professional Training at Newcastle Dental Hospital before joining Queensway as a full time associate in 1998.

In 2000, she completed her Diploma in Conscious Sedation. She has actively been involved in the published research carried out at Queensway Anxiety Management Clinic, pioneering conscious sedation techniques in children with over 9 years experience in treating highly anxious patients.

Uzma also has an interest in aesthetic dentistry. She is committed to the highest standards of clinical care and the on-going process of postgraduate education. She believes in offering the best that modern dentistry can bring and attends multiple aesthetic dentistry courses regularly. She has recently completed a Restorative Aesthetic Dentistry course led by Michael Wise, a highly-esteemed lead in this field, and is currently studying for an MSc in Restorative Cosmetic Dentistry at University of Central Lancashire.
