Smile update | March 2022

This month we will be celebrating World Oral Health Day, a subject which is obviously very important to us, and we will be running a colouring competition for all our young patients with a £30 cinema voucher up for grabs – please feel free to call into the practice to receive your colouring pack.

As individuals we are sure that everyone has welcomed the removal of the final Covid restrictions, and we all move forward in learning to live with this virus. However, as a healthcare setting there are currently no changes to our covid protocols, and we are still asking that our patients kindly adhere to the mask wearing and safety protocols we have put in place to keep everyone safe. We hope this may be able to change soon but await further national guidance.

Queensway Dental

We were amazed to see how many of our Instagram followers were interested in cosmetic veneer treatment but were concerned their natural teeth would be filed down in the process. 

Did you know because of the techniques we have developed here at Queensway Dental, filing your teeth down prior to veneer treatment doesn’t have to be the case? We believe it’s best to keep as much natural tooth as possible – and veneers can now be designed at our on-site laboratory to be applied with no damage to your natural tooth. If your teeth are very crooked, it may be necessary to remove some tooth, but this should be very minimal (no pointy stumps!).
