Dental Reception Manager


We are looking for an enthusiastic dental reception manager to lead our front of house team in Billingham. The ideal candidate will have previous managerial experience, a proven track-record of working towards and exceeding targets and KPI’s.  A confident manner and impeccable communication skills are essential to ensure the smooth day to day running of a busy reception.

Responsibilities include:

  • Setting and meeting KPI’s
  • Preparing and sharing reports as requested
  • Day-to-day management of the reception team
  • Welcoming patients to the practice and ensuring a comfortable and relaxed environment is maintained
  • Providing exemplary customer service
  • Assisting patients with booking appointments and making payments
  • Ensuring that every patient leaves the practice after their appointment having a 5 star experience
  • Leading team meetings and delivering customer service training when required
  • Participating in managers and partners meetings when required
  • Following practice policies and procedures

Essential Experience:

–              NVQ L4 or equivalent in Leadership and Management

–              Experience of working in a managerial role

–              Excellent spoken and written communication skills

–              Proficient computer skills in outlook, word and excel

Beneficial Experience/ Qualifications:

–              Dental experience

–              Experience of using customer relationship management (CRM) systems

–              NVQ L3 Customer Service

Full time position: Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm.
