“Chipping a tooth when I was 14, had a lasting effect on my smile. Multiple treatments including a crown and a veneer had never restored it back to looking ‘natural’. When I was in my late 30’s my veneer started to change colour and I also noticed some discolouration between my teeth which made me feel self-conscious. It was after a family member commented on the colour that I decided to make an appointment with a Queensway dentist.
I had a free consultation with Dr Paul Averley, he listed to my concerns and carried out a full oral health assessment. I immediately trusted him and was actually excited for my next dental visit as it meant I was going to get my smile ‘fixed’.
For me, the dental work was an investment into the health of my teeth as I wanted to act now rather than wait until any future problems come about.
I started treatment straight away with a hygienist appointment for a thorough clean and polish followed by a course of tooth whitening. The second stage of treatment included 2 fillings, 3 veneers and a cracked tooth repair.
I love the results and couldn't be happier, by job involves regular meetings and delivering presentations and my confidence in doing so has greatly improved – I now smile at every opportunity. The best bit is my smile looks completely natural, just a better version of what it did previously.
The service I received from Queensway was excellent, Dr Averley’s team were fantastic and most of all very professional. I was always greeted with a smile by the receptionists, the hygienist was very thorough and explained a lot to me on gum health and how to look after my smile to avoid future problems. I even got to speak to the laboratory team who worked on-site so I could input into exactly how I wanted my veneers to look.
I have always known Queensway Dental as having the reputation of being the best in the North East, now I have experienced it myself I would whole-heartedly agree. I now wouldn't go anywhere else and would recommend my friends and family if they required dental work.”
