Jade completed a dental nurse NVQ level 3 with Shape training and passed her exam in 2010 whilst working at a small family ran practice. She started working as a nurse at Queensway Dental in September 2010 and became a Treatment Co-ordinator full time in January 2017.

What do you enjoy most about working for Queensway?

I enjoy looking after the patients and building a relationship to ensure patients feel comfortable when coming to the clinic to see me or a dentist.

Where would a patient usually find you in the practice?

I live in my little office Monday-Friday which is situated in the Crown building.

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

Seeing patients from start to finish and the outcome that the patient has received. It is surprising how much a bright smile boosts your confidence and quality of life!

What do you enjoy doing out of work?

I enjoy socialising with my friends and family in my spare time.

What makes you smile?

Doing a good job and making other people happy!

Leanne started as a dental nurse after leaving school at 16, having known she wanted to be a dental nurse from the age of 14. She has worked at Queensway for 19 years and started as a dental nurse before training to be a treatment advisor.

What do you enjoy most about working for Queensway?

I love seeing patient’s confidence grow as their treatment progresses.

Where would a patient usually find you in the practice?

I am usually in my office in the crown building, chatting to patients about their treatment options and payment plans.

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

We make big changes to people’s lives. It’s great to work with such a highly skilled team who are so focused on the delivering best patient care.

What do you enjoy doing out of work?

I enjoy going to the gym and lifting weights - I train five times a week. Weekends are for family time, - I love cooking and spending time with my husband Paul and kids Declan and Megan.

I do enjoy socialising with friends when I find the time.

What makes you smile?

Lots of things make me smile- I am a happy person! My husband brings me coffee in bed most mornings and that always puts a smile on my face :0)
