You said, we did.

On Thursday 21st April, we held a patient forum for NHS patients at Queensway Dental Clinic. The forum allowed us to speak to our patients and find out more about their experience. 

Overall the feedback was very positive with patients commenting that the NHS service provided by Queensway Dental Clinic exceeded their expectations.

Some of the other positive comments mentioned include:

  • A very friendly, professional dental practice.
  • The team help to put any worries at ease.
  • Queensway doesn’t smell like a dentist.
  • Warm welcome at reception.
  • Don’t feel afraid to ask questions.

 

In response to the feedback we have receive we have put the following ‘You said, we did’ action points in to place.

It would be good to always see the same dentist, therapist or hygienist.  We will always do our best to book repeat appointments with the same clinician. We will offer a reason if this isn’t possible.

I would like to see artwork on the walls in the waiting rooms. We have improved our waiting rooms by redecorating and replacing dated fixtures and fitting as well as by putting up artwork on the walls.

It would be good to improve the process involved when completing forms. We have invested in electronic tablets to help streamline processes at the clinic, particularly for patients when completing forms.

I find the stairs to the upstairs waiting room steep. We have a stair lift facility at the clinic and we have now trained additional staff members in how to use it. We can offer patients the option to see a dentist in a surgery which is more easily accessible. Should you require additional assistance please make this known to reception staff at the time of booking your appointment.
