Testing future dental technology in Finland

Dr Will Carter and dental laboratory technician, Alex Cheung have been invited to the Nordic Institute of Dental Education in Finland (linked with the university of Turku) to learn about the latest innovations in digital smile design, implant planning, virtual reality surgery and surgical guide manufacture along with immediate same day crown fabrication.

Dr Will Carter said: “Queensway Dental already has a high quality digital work flow with CAD CAM and we are investing time and resources to source the very best technology for our patients so they can expect the best outcomes and an improved customer experience.

“Future technology will allow us to show patients what their smiles could look like before and after treatment virtually before they even sit in a dental chair, we could even start planning their smile remotely before they come to the clinic.

“We have both learned some tips and tricks from the institute which will further improve the care we provide.”
