ICON Treatmentfor teeth

A gentle, drill-free way to fade white spots and restore your natural smile

Patient smiling with an even, natural tooth colour after ICON treatment

ICON is a modern, gentle treatment designed to improve the appearance of white spots that cannot be removed with tooth whitening alone. Using a special resin, it fills the tiny pores in your enamel, strengthening the tooth and blending the white spots for a more natural look.

There is no drilling, no injections and no filling involved. ICON is a fast, minimally invasive way to restore a brighter, more even smile, and a gentle alternative to veneers.

How ICON works

The process is quick and straightforward. We clean and prepare the tooth, then treat it with the resin, which seals the white spot from within. There is no drilling or filling involved at any stage.

We finish by polishing the tooth for a smooth, beautiful result, blending the white spot with your natural enamel in a single visit.

What causes
white spots?

White spots on teeth are fairly common and can have different causes. One is fluorosis, which happens when too much fluoride is consumed while the adult teeth are still forming.

Another is decalcification, where minerals are lost from the enamel, often due to poor brushing during brace treatment, especially around the brackets. In rarer cases, white spots can follow molar incisor hypoplasia, which may develop after trauma in infancy.
