Brian Fox

Tell us a bit about your career history

I started off working in Northern Rocks centralised IT department whilst at University. I then worked for Sunderland University Business School IT Support team, followed by Desktop Support for a plastic packaging company for a couple of years. I was with TSG for over 15 years in various roles from field support, IT helpdesk before becoming a Proactive Consultant. I joined the Queensway team in 2020.

Where would a patient usually find you in the practice?

In my IT cave behind the Oral Surgery Reception.

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

Helping people and feeling appreciated. I always feel valued at Queensway, it's a great team to be part of.

What do you enjoy doing out of work?

Keeping fit, whether at the gym or running. I love hill walking especially in the Lake District. Socialising and going to gigs is up there too, I’m a bit of a music obsessive.

What makes you smile?

My daughter, I am very proud of her and was smiling from ear to ear when she won the national karate championships.
