Laura Fagan

I started dental nursing in 1996 as an YTS and qualified in 1997. In 1999, I joined the Royal Navy and served for 8 years in the dental branch in a variety of roles, which also included a tour of Iraq in 2003.

Where would a patient usually find you in the practice?

Working in the oral surgery department.

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

Seeing people’s relief when they are out of pain. Knowing that our team does an excellent job and gaining really great feedback from them.

What do you enjoy doing out of work?

Socialising with friends, good food and drink, keeping fit and watching my daughter dance.
