Tell us about your career history
Before starting at Queensway, Julie worked for the University Hospital of North Tees for twenty years as a decontamination assistant. She joined Queensway in November 2019.
What do you enjoy most about working at Queensway?
It has a lovely atmosphere and the staff are friendly.
Where would a patient find you?
In the sterilising department.
Most rewarding part of your job?
Knowing how important the sterilising is to the staff and patients, and when I manage to get everything done and put away.
What do you enjoy doing out of work?
I enjoy doing yoga, walking, and generally being outdoors. I also enjoy visiting historical places and I am a member of the National Trust.
What makes you smile?
My dog and spending time with family and friends.
