After bringing up my children I worked in Colchester General Hospitals Sterilising unit, then moved to the Microbiology department where I worked as a lab technician for 12 years. I have been working in Queensway since then.

How long have you worked at Queensway?

I have worked at Queensway for nearly 5 years.

Where would a patient usually find you in the practice?

In the sterilizing department of Crown building.

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

It feels good when I have managed to get everything cleaned, sterilised and returned to the surgeries and nobody has run out of instruments.

What do you enjoy doing out of work?

I read and sew and I like eating out.
