Dr Simon Gallagher

Simon joined the Queensway team in 2025. Originally from Sheffield Simon qualified from Newcastle Dental School with a merit in clinical dentistry in 2007. Since then he has worked in practices throughout the Northeast. Simon loves to learn and has undertaken extensive further training over that time, including implants, facial aesthetics, Invisalign, restorative dentistry and cosmetic dentistry. Simon has recently been undertaking further training at the world-renowned Kois Dental Centre in Seattle to further advance his skills in treating various facets of restorative dentistry, including managing more complex cases. He intends to undertake further training in airway/sleep medicine in future, as well as continuing to complete relevant courses to improve his skills in other areas

How do you enjoy spending time outside of work?
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with family and friends, most of my time is spent entertaining our dog. I try get to the gym as often as I can, and have recently started playing Padel tennis (though it’s fair that say I’m not a natural). I’m a keen sports fan, and watch my fair share of football amongst other sports.

What makes you smile?
Coming home to my wife and dog, and being greeted by her wagging tail (the dog not my wife).
